**update 7/24/25**

Any overage will go to basic necessities and making sure we can make it through until our loan goes through. We are so excited that we met our minimum and so many also sent through cashapp or PayPal. We appreciate each and every one of you!

As many of you know, Mikayla has been facing ongoing medical issues. The most recent being neurological issues that still lack clear answers. The journey has included hospitalization, new medications, labs, and testing, each bringing new challenges both medically and financially.

Until now, we've managed by doing everything we can to stay afloat, with the help of our family and friends getting to appointments, watching kiddos, and getting shifts at work covered. However, with ongoing car trouble for all vehicles, broken home air conditioning, medical expenses, furthering education, and the rising cost of everyday essentials, we've found ourselves in a place where we simply can't stretch things any further.

The stress of it all has been getting to her (all of us), and one of the two things the doctor said to not do is to not stress. That is impossible when it feels like you are going to lose everything because there are no more hours in the day to power through.

We are working on a solution: pulling a loan from our 401k to regain stability. The issue? In order to begin the process, we need to pay a required balance of $850. This will unlock the ability to request the loan and begin getting our finances back on track, something we've been fighting hard to do.

Our goal is to raise these funds by August 1st, so we can start the process as soon as possible.

Anything additional will go toward bills or fees as it seemed we are in an endless cycle of over draft fees from scraping by.

Right now, everything we have is tied up in daily living expenses: groceries, gas, overdue bills, and debt collectors we're trying to manage one at a time to avoid litigation. We've already cut costs to the bare minimum, but we're at a standstill.

Anything you can give helps more than you know. Whether it's $5 or simply sharing this with others, it truly means the world to us.
