As a close Italian family, we are compelled to tell the Shopinsky's story and ask for your help. Heather is a wonderful wife and an incredible mother of three children she does an amazing job taking care of everyone around her and has the biggest heart. Back in 2020, Heather suffered from a mild stroke, thankfully she recovered all her motor skills and the majority of her cognitive abilities. Unfortunately, Heather still experiences extensive migraines almost two years later and is still taking medications to minimize them. As you can imagine some of these medications are quite expensive even with insurance in addition to Heather's remaining unpaid medical bills.

If that wasn't enough Heather and Scott's daughter Mia just recently went in for what appeared to be an ear infection and turned out to be an abscess/infection above her brain which caused her brain to swell and an infection in the bone behind her ear. She was in the hospital for 7 days, including an ICU stay, two MRIs, a CT Scan, PICC line placement, ear surgery and brain surgery. Thankfully, they were able to flush the abscess with antibiotics and relieve poor Mia of the incredible pain she was experiencing.

They have a long road ahead with multiple specialists, further testing and monitoring of her brain for swelling and an IV infusion of antibiotics twice a day for the foreseeable future.

We are raising money to assist the Shopinsky Family with the extensive medical bills they have recently incurred from Mia's brain surgery. Any amount you can donate would be deeply appreciated all monies will go towards Mia's unpaid medical bills.
