On October 11, 2025, Vera Shkliarenko was involved in a very serious car accident, where the other driver was traveling southbound in the northbound lane and collided head on into Vera's car. Both vehicles caught fire following the collision, and Vera was trapped inside until the emergency responders were able to get her out. She was taken to a nearby hospital and remains there in very critical condition. The doctors are doing everything they can to save her life and it is by the grace of God that she is alive today.

Vera has suffered 3rd and 4th degree burns in over 50% of her body. She has already had 5 surgeries on her abdomen and legs. The doctors are taking it one step at a time, but the list seems to be endless with all the procedures and interventions that need to take place. Vera remains in a medically induced coma with her husband by her side. The team of doctors are saying that if Vera survives all of these surgeries and procedures still to come, she will have a year long recovery in the hospital. But, we serve a living God and a God of miracles and our hope is in Him.

We ask you to step in faith and pray for Vera, her husband Andrii, daughter Anna (9) and their families. It is extremely difficult to see your loved one go through this kind of pain while not knowing what the future holds.

Given Vera's circumstance, Andrii will not be able to return to work for the unforeseeable future, as he remains at the hospital with her. Please consider blessing their family financially as it will be one less burden for them to carry. All funds raised will go directly to Andrii Shklairenko, Vera's husband.
