Honoring the Life of Steven Lee Sherrill

On September 10, 2025, our beloved Steven Lee Sherrill, Sr. went home to be with the Lord at the age of 71. Born and raised in Little Rock, Steve lived a life full of faith, family, laughter, and love.

Steve was a devoted husband to his wife of 32 years, Lynda, and a proud father and grandfather who treasured every moment with his children and grandchildren. He was a longtime member and guitarist at First Assembly of God in North Little Rock, where his music and faith touched many hearts. His life was a testimony of his love for Jesus Christ—he found joy in encouraging others with biblical wisdom, a warm smile, and words of kindness.

Along with his deep faith, Steve had a passion for fishing. Whether casting a line for bass or simply enjoying the stillness of the water, he found peace and joy on the lake. His love for fishing was more than a hobby—it was where he felt closest to God’s creation and where he shared countless memories with his family.

Steve was also a dedicated salesperson at Dillard’s Department Store for 32 years, where he built lasting friendships before retiring in August 2025. He will always be remembered as someone who could light up any room, make people laugh, and see the bright side of every situation.

We are creating this fund to help Steve’s family during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go toward supporting funeral expenses and easing the financial burden as they navigate life without him.

If you cannot give, please consider sharing this page and lifting the family up in prayer. Steve’s life was a gift, and his memory will continue to inspire us to walk in faith, cherish family, and find joy—just as he did.

Thank you for helping us honor Steve’s legacy.
