Help the shelter care for little PB

Hello! My name is PB. I am a sweet, very petite six month old black and white neutered male kitten who has had a rough start in life. I was rescued from an unfortunate situation where there were too many cats and not enough resources to care for us. Half of my friends went to Milford Humane Society and the other half went to another shelter. While I was at Milford Humane the volunteers noticed that my litter box was especially clean. They took me to their veterinarian who did x-rays and a series of tests which revealed that I had a very infected rectal stricture which wasn't allowing me to poop. It was a miracle I survived up until now.

Milford Humane Society believes every cat is important and deserves a chance to live a happy life. With my strong will to overcome my situation along with Milford Humane's approval of my surgery, I was transferred to a specialty hospital for my procedure to have the hard, infected rectal stricture removed.

The surgery went well and I am now in a foster home recovering. I am playing, eating, and within the last week have passed all the old hard poop. Boy did that hurt!

As in life there are no guarantees. I was told before the surgery that I may end up up a little incontinent and there may be a chance my stricture may grow back requiring further in surgery. I'm hoping for the best. I believe in me. Milford Humane Society believes in me. All my friends who cared for me believe in me.

So now for my appeal to all my friends out there in the big world. My surgery has cost the shelter $4500.00. I am setting up a Go Fund Me Account for me, PB, to help them recoup some of their veterinary funds. I know the past years have been financially tough for a lot of folks and very tough for animal shelters due to limitations on fund raisers. Any amount you can donate no matter how big or small would be appreciated and I want to assure you that if the donations go over my goal, any extra will be put toward the vet care of my other friends at Milford Humane Society.
