Help the Shaughnessy's Recover from Hurrican Helene
Donation protected
Hi, we’re the Shaughnessy Family from Clemson, SC, and like many in our community, our home has been severely impacted by Hurricane Helene. Last Friday, three large trees fell on our house, tangled in power lines, making it not only dangerous but incredibly costly to remove. We’ve been quoted $10k for tree removal, but the process can’t start until the power company clears the live wires. Meanwhile, our town is still recovering from the devastation—power lines, poles, and transformers are still scattered across the streets, schools remain closed, and many families, including ours, are still without power.
As owners of Moe Joe Coffee Co. in Clemson, we’ve been doing everything we can to support the community during this time, providing a safe space with internet, electricity, and hot food to help those affected by the storm. Now, we're humbly asking for your support to help us get back on our feet. We’ve filed insurance claims and applied for FEMA Disaster Relief, but the wait is long, and we need help to move forward.
Any contribution you can offer will help us restore our home and continue providing for our community. We’ll keep you updated as we make progress in this long recovery process. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your generosity and support during this challenging time.
