Update #2:
The family is bouncing around from hotel to hotel, but hoping to land somewhere semi-permanent soon. Space and supplies are limited. St. Peter's church on Courthouse Road in Stafford is acting as a collection center for the family, or you can always reach out to me to coordinate pick up.

We have also started a meal train for them. With space and supplies being so limited, gift cards to local restaurants (see Meal Train info for favorites) and business are preferred. There is limited space to prepare and cook meals for a family of 5. Storage space (refrigerator, cabinets, oven) is also very limited at the moment.

Thank you all for your generosity and help with the family. It is greatly appreciated!

Update #1:
The family is currently staying in an extended stay hotel, and will probably be there a couple of weeks. They have a kitchenette, but space and supplies are limited.

The house was a total loss. The plan is to demolish to the foundation and rebuild and replace things lost in the fire. They will be moving to a rental property in the coming weeks, but the hard part is really just beginning: rebuilding their life after tragedy.

Thank you all for the love and support shown.

Hello. On Sunday, November 16, 2025, my stepdaughter and her family suffered an unimaginable tragedy when their home was destroyed by fire.

Justin and Danielle Shartzer and their children Vincent, Dominic, and Julianne all made it out safely, but unfortunately, they lost everything. We know there will be unthinkable costs ahead of them, so we have set up this page to help them.

Please, if you are willing and able to give, we thank you for your kindness in advance. If you can't donate, we completely understand. You can still help by sharing this page or sending all the thoughts, prayers, and good vibes you can muster.

We are also collecting donations for the family. Their details are below:
Justin: men's size 2XL, shoes 10 1/2
Danielle: women's size M, shoes 6 or 6 1/2
Vincent: 12 years old, size 8, shoe size 1
Dominic: 10 years old, size 10/12, shoe size 3
Julianne: 6 years old, size 6, shoe size 11/12

Feel free to contact me with any questions or to arrange donation drop-off/pickup.
