Dak Noah Segstrom.

On December 31st 2025, when Mom Kelsey was only 25 weeks and 5 days along, Dak decided it was time to enter the world - via a very sudden emergency C-section - weighing in at only 1 pound and 3 ounces at birth!

Dak has been fighting so hard, and has grown and overcome so much! He has battled constant infections, has yet to come off the ventilator (soon though!), and is working so hard to grow big and strong.

Today (4/10/2026) is Dak's original due date and he hit a milestone - he is 100 days old!

As the Segerstroms continue through this journey, they need your help. The cost of gas, food, and parking adds up quickly as Kelsey and Dom travel from St Cloud to Minneapolis as often as possible to spend time with Dak. Further, Baby's medical bills could end up quite a hefty sum.

Fun fact: The name Dak is believed to be derived from the Hebrew word "dak", meaning "to be swift" or "to be quick", which is unintentionally very fitting for Baby Dak. The way this family's lives have changed forever? Very quick indeed.
