Help the school and football club of Ngeri village
Ngeri is a rural and poor village in western Kenya right at the Lake Victoria. Most of the people can't even afford drinking water, that's why they drink water unpurified out of the lake although it's said that it is full of dirt and bacteria.
To help the community I have helped in the foundation of Jacob Obiero for two months now and with this crowdfunding i'd like to support these major projects:
- FOOTBALL TEAM (SOCCER)
Football means everything to them, everyone loves it and most of them also love to play (since they were little). You can see the crowds of children play on streets, on empty fields, at the beach or just during school break on the football ground right next to the building. That's why most of the players of Ngeri FC are very talented, unfortunately they're playing without a future. Besides the bad field and little equipment they can't even afford to play in a league, only friendlies. So we had the idea to collect money for a boat which will be used as a boat taxi by the players. All of the earnings will go straight to the team or to single players in need who have to feed their family. The boat can also be used for away games instead of hiring a vehicle expensively.
- SCHOOL
I have also tought in school a little bit. Although the students have to spent relatively large amount of money to enjoy education, the school cannot provide enough equipment for the pupils. For example the students are given only 3 school books for the entire class and just a few calculaters and rulers. Besides that some students really struggle to come up with the certain amount of money each week. These guys can be helped tremendously by taking like 20% of their school fee.
The money raised won't just affect the quality of life at school and the football club directly but it will also improve the quality of life of the whole village indirectly.
By donating to me and Jacob's foundation you are guaranteed that every penny will reach there where it's supposed to land! :) I would really appreciate every single donation, no matter how small or big. Let's help those who are really in need!
