Help the Schoenfelders recover from the house fire

Kim and Bernie experienced all of our worst fears today. Kim received a frantic and panicked call from their grandson that their house was on fire. He got out, the dogs got out and everyone is physically okay, thankfully. The house... not so much. It could take a year or more for them to get back in their home of 30+ years in Aurora, Colorado. Their garage, camaro, Bernie's tools for work and everything else in their garage went up in flames. Their bedroom and everything in it (furniture, bed, clothes, ... everything) went up in flames. The fire went into the attic and the roof is destroyed as well. There is extensive water and smoke damage throughout the house. 

We don't know exactly what they need in a material sense right now other than support, positivity and having us support them with this fundraiser as much as possible. 

They will need to find a rental and will need to pay for it while still paying for their mortgage. They will likely need to purchase a bed, clothes, daily personal items and toiletries to use while their home is being restored and while they wait for insurance to come through... and who knows how long that will take. They could need upwards of $3000 to provide a first and last months rent, security deposit for their sweet dogs and to furnish the home  a bit. Then comes paying the rent, etc. 

Please consider contributing any amount of money you can spare as every little bit helps. 

This is a strong family with perseverance and pride. This is why I have created this fundraiser because they would never outright ask for our help themselves. We know they need it and with our help, they will get it.
