Help the Schmitz Family Through Tough Times

Hello and good day to you. We are Joy and Ed Schmitz, and today we are grateful for the many great things life has given us in our 6 years together, most especially our daughter Allie. We have a great home that we are purchasing—no rentals anymore—and of course, a great supportive family and caring friends.

Most recently, I had to have surgery. I knew that there was a possibility of future injuries, so through the U.S.P.S., I purchased a temporary disability policy. This is why we are here today. As of right now, 6 weeks after that surgery, the policy has not been paid by the holders, and there is no deadline in sight for them to do so. This problem is causing us to seek assistance with our day-to-day living, including our mortgage payment for April, and possibly beyond.

Things have not progressed as we had hoped and they will be tough for awhile. We will be in need of your help to continue.
