Help the Schleicher Family Honor Jon's Memory

On Thursday, June 26, 2025, our community experienced the tragic loss of Jon Schleicher from a climbing accident. He lit up every room, warmed so many hearts, and brought joy wherever he went. He had a gift for making everyone feel like the most important person in the world. And with his passing, we invite everyone who knew and loved him to help his family when they need us most.

His absence is deeply felt already. The Schleicher family is now facing the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye to their son. And Jon would do anything for us, so we want to do everything we can to help.

We are coming together to support the Schleicher family as they grieve and navigate the challenges ahead. All funds will go toward flights and transportation, funeral and memorial costs, meals, cleaning help, and other practical needs while the family navigates this heartbreaking loss and focuses on healing. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and show the Schleicher family that they are not alone in their sorrow.

Jon was a dedicated son, the most loyal friend imaginable, cherished cat dad, beloved member of the running and climbing community in Denver, and so much more.
