Help Jamie Scali and her Family Rebuild their Life

It is with a broken heart that I post and create this fund.  My sister in law, nieces and nephew
lost their home in to a fire early this morning in Circleville, NY.  All that remains are foundation, childhood memories and broken hearts.   Their dog, Apollo, died in the fire.

The neighbor called 911 and started smashing out a window to save them.  My sister in law, Jamie, awoke to the glass and smoke,  with 
minutes to get her family down the stairs that were collapsing around them.  

Everything was completely destroyed, 
including all tangible memories of their home,
which was Chris, Jamie and Carrie’s childhood 
home.  My father in law’s attached apartment
was not as greatly affected, thankfully.  Their home was built in 1837, and considered a safe haven by so many of their friends growing up through the years.   

For those that know my family, know that this home was my mother in law’s beloved 
treasure, where she raised her family and ALL
were welcome.  It is where she wanted to be, 
and was, to the very end.  Jamie continued 
raising her family in the Scali home, carrying 
on traditions and creating new memories 
there.

Jamie is a true example of a friend, mom,
daughter and sister... honest, kind, genuine, 
hardworking, brave, true, and devotes her 
life to children’s safety in our communities.  

She is a giver, and never a taker.  If you can 
find it in your heart to donate anything at all, it
would help make this tragedy a little less of an 
overwhelming burden for them.
