Help the Sarkis Family Recover After the Eaton Fire
Donation protected
Dear friends,
With a heavy heart, I’m reaching out to ask for your help. My sister, Mania Sarkis, her husband, Raymond Sarkis, their sweet 8-month-old daughter, and their beloved dog, Bobo, have lost everything in the devastating Eaton Fire that burned through Altadena.
On January 7th, the fire forced them to evacuate in a blink of an eye, with no power and just moments to act, fleeing with only the clothes on their backs, leaving behind all of their belongings and the home they built with so much care.
This home was not just a house; it was a labor of love. My sister and her husband purchased it during the challenges of the COVID pandemic, pouring their hearts into renovating it themselves with the help of family and friends. Their dream was to make it a home filled with love and memories, and in 2021, they celebrated their wedding right in the backyard of this very home. In 2023 they rescued their dog Bobo from the streets of Altadena from the Pasadena Humane Society. This home was where they started their journey as a married couple, and later, where they brought their baby girl into the world in April of 2024.

They are facing the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding their lives from the ground up. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly towards losses and unmet needs beyond those covered by insurance or disaster relief.
Every donation, no matter the size, will provide some much-needed relief and hope during this heartbreaking time.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support as we rally around my sister’s family to help them restore not just their home, but the beautiful life they created there.
With love and gratitude,
