Help the Sanburgs Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

"Sometimes, the person who's been there for everyone else needs someone to be there for them."
My name is Teresa Dutton and I consider the Sanburgs, my best friends. While I am in North Carolina, this beautiful family has lived in Florida loving life in the sun accomplishing one of Chelsea's life goals.
If you have ever met Chelsea and Mitchell Sanburg, you know they have the heart of gold, always smiling, and full of coffee with the love of travel. The Sanburgs have two beautiful children William and Claire (Irish twins under 2) who radiate sweetness. Chelsea has worked hard as not only a therapist with the VA but finds the time to create a travel blog that has helped so many in recreational travel. Mitchell stays busy in the boating industry helping those around him in the Florida area and is a jack of all trades from IT work to hands on construction projects. Since the day I met Chelsea, she has always dreamed of living in her beach house with her precious family and finally was able to make this happen.
This beautiful family has, like many others, fallen victim to Hurricane Helene in the Redington Beach, Florida area. Sadly, they have fought storms before but Helene was not kind, bringing in roughly 4' of water into the house. They have lost next to everything in their home but thankfully are physically safe. Mitchell has been working endlessly, since the sun has risen following the storm, to take everything they own to the side of the road, in effort to save what is salvageable from the housing structure. We continue to pray that the house is not a total loss as the water not only soaked everything, but the storm surge shifted walls, took off baseboards, and broke doors in half. This is just a start and each day is another step to rebuilding their lives as they are determined to do with a heavy heart but their head held high.
I simply adore this family. They have given me permission to set this up in order to offer help, though we know it is hard to ask for help; especially for those of us that are not local to offer physical help. Doing a GoFundme will help be utilized to rebuild and restart their lives as they are unable to keep anything that has gotten wet, due to mold, from the storm surge.
