Dear Family and Friends,

We are reaching out to share a special opportunity to help the Latter-day Saint members in Guayaramerin, Bolivia. Many faithful Saints in this remote town deeply desire to visit the temple - a sacred place where we draw closer to our Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ through ordinances and covenants. Unfortunately, for most members in this area that opportunity is financially out of reach. Their nearest temple is located more than 800 miles away in Cochabamba. Traveling there from Guayaramerin, deep in the Amazon rainforest of northern Bolivia, means enduring a 38-hour bus ride. The travel is not only long and difficult, but also extremely costly, especially for Saints in a country where 80% of the population lives in poverty. Despite these challenges, Guayaramerin members are preparing themselves spiritually and financially. They are attending temple preparation classes and saving what little they can to help with food costs. Missionaries have been working diligently to arrange a temple trip with group transportation and lodging in church buildings to reduce expenses.

For many Guayaramerin Saints, this organized trip may be their only opportunity to attend the temple. Each member needs approximately $80 USD to cover the cost of the trip. Any help you can offer - whether through a donation or simply sharing this message would be a tremendous blessing to these faithful Saints. Your contribution will go directly towards transportation costs and make this sacred journey possible.
