Hello Everyone,

My family and I are going through an incredibly difficult time. Recently, my parents’ home was tragically destroyed in a fire, and both of my parents were hospitalized as a result. In just a matter of moments, they lost their home and nearly all of their belongings, while also facing serious medical recovery.

My parents are immigrants who have worked hard their entire lives to build a stable and loving home for our family. My mom dedicated her career to caring for others as a hospice nurse, offering comfort and compassion to families during some of their hardest moments. My dad recently retired from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, where he spent many years serving the community through his work.

Right now, our main focus is making sure my mom and dad are safe, supported, and able to heal. As they continue to recover in the hospital, we are working to secure temporary housing, replace essential items, and prepare for the long road ahead. Between medical bills, housing needs, clothing, food, and rebuilding what was lost, the financial burden is overwhelming for our family.

We are asking for any support you’re able to give — whether through a donation or by sharing this page — to help ease the immediate and ongoing costs. All funds raised will go directly toward:

• Medical bills and recovery-related expenses

• Temporary housing and basic living needs

• Replacing clothing, furniture, and essential items

• Long-term rebuilding and stability

My parents are loving, hardworking people who have always been there for others. Now, they need the support of their community more than ever.
