Hi all. My name is Rian Francois and I am fundraising for Matt and Mandy Ryan. I have been lucky enough to call Mandy one of my absolute best friends for over 20yrs. We have seen each other through ALL of life's ups and downs and this is certainly no exception. She and Matt are wonderful people and parents and they will come out on top of this nightmare, but they could really use the support of their village right about now...

I think we can all agree that a house fire tops the list of our worst fears. Especially one that happens late at night while everyone is in bed. Sadly, that is exactly what happened to the Ryan family on 7/15/22. As they were getting ready to go to sleep, they were jolted by the sound of an explosion of some kind in their garage. After a very quick assessment of the situation it became clear that they had to get out so Matt, Mandy, Liam and their two dogs left the home and made it to safety. Thankfully neither of their girls were home at the time. It appears to have been an electrical fire that resulted in a complete loss of all belongings. 

Matt and Mandy have three children: 14yr old Lucy, 8yr old Liam and 5yr old Amelia. Liam is a wild and adorable non-verbal little boy with autism, and his specific needs mean that the family is not able to stay in a hotel. They will be in an air bnb (where everyone can be comfortable) until the next steps are sorted out. In addition, all three kids will be going back school next month, which is a big deal on a normal day, let alone while your entire life is up in the air.

The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help ease the family's financial burden during this time. It has been a rough year for them and this is certainly not the 'light at the end of the tunnel' that they have been hoping for. Any dollar amount is greatly appreciated. The funds will go directly toward recouping loss of income and fulfilling their needs while they take the time to put these broken pieces back together.
