Help the Runt family back on their feet

Hey ya'll! Kristy Runt here. As some of you may know, Rob Runt is not well. He is getting better a little bit everyday. Back in April he got really sick. He ended up in the hospital with what they said was GERD. He did a follow up and had an endoscopy done because he was concerned that he kept losing his voice as well. They found that Rob has polyps on his vocal cords but what we weren't expecting to hear was that he has Barrett's Esophagus with high dysplasia. Cancer was knocking on our door. He had one Ablation treatment and things went so bad. His health declined so fast and he was so sick. I will save you the gruesome details. This went on for months. The doctors were doing more scopes, colonoscopies, blood work etc. Finally they admitted him to the hospital. He was going 7-10 days at a time with no food. His body was so depleted. He went from 175 pounds to 130. (Last week he was up to 147!) He was in the hospital for 4 days and released. They thought he might have a blockage, or pancreatitis, they looked for so many things and found nothing. So they got his electrolytes and things back stable and sent him home. (We just received a hospital bill for almost $8000.00. The insurance company is saying Robs hospital stay was not necessary.) Things were not much better. He felt good for a few days and then bad. All bad. His vision started giving him a lot of trouble, and he was diagnosed with Nerve Palsy in his eye. Robs dad had Kidney disease, they were testing Rob as well. They did some bloodwork and his Creatinine levels were off. His Doctor sent us to a Kidney specialist who deemed that Rob was in Stage 3 of 5 of Kidney disease. She did more bloodwork and found his Triglycerides to be 3161! A normal number is around 100. They immediately sent him to an Endocrinologist. He put Rob on 3 different medications and a week later his number is 192. Thankfully. Now he is starting to feeling better. He is not 100%. It is going to take some time and we are still so very worried about the Kidneys. We did get good news that after the first Ablation on his esophagus 95% of the cancer (Barrett's) has been successfully removed. Next month (November 2021) he has to go get another treatment to try and kill the remaining 5%. In the meantime Rob has not really been able to leave the house he is so sick most days. So he has not worked since April. I am juggling 2 jobs but all of this is really taking a toll on us. Many weeks I have had to miss work in order to take him to Dr. appointments and most times we have to go to Downtown Cleveland to the Cleveland Clinic. That’s an all day adventure and we do it a lot! Things have gotten difficult for me to juggle and I hate to even tell you that. We need some help. I am getting behind on our bills and rent. It is become extremely hard and if anyone is willing to donate a few bucks to our family it would be forever appreciated. We are trying to just get back on our feet. Rob is working on filing for disability if need be, but he really wants to go back to work and trying so hard to get strong enough to do that. If you’ve made it this far thanks for reading this. The Runt Family thanks you all from the bottom of our hearts. Lets get Rob back to what he does best. He wants so badly to be strong enough to finish the album and get a mic back in his hands, too!
