Help The Runge’s With Medical Expenses

Hi, I’m blessed to know the Runges from Hartland Family Camp. I meet with Lois at the camp before breakfast to pray and I also spend my fair share of time in the craft room with her.

Like many of you, I have been following Lois’ Facebook page and have been praying for Robert as he struggles in the hospital.

He went in with Covid and had complications due to a previous Kidney transplant. His medical story is changing daily - as I write the latest update is that we need to be praying that his central line stops bleeding.

This is a frightening and stressful time for the family. The Lord has put it on my heart to start a go-fund me and Lois confirmed that it would be a huge blessing. We need to help not only with the medical bills that are already coming in, but the ongoing expenses of hospital parking, having to eat out and even trying to pay for alternative health measures. (The hospital won’t even give him Vitamin C!)

Here’s a summary that Lois sent me the other day;

Yes he tested negative for Covid on day 12 so he has bilateral pneumonia the left side has the Covid consequences of blockage in the lower left airways the right side has more of the pneumonia issues. Because he is a transplant patient and on and immunosuppressant drugs they cannot take him off of them completely so he does not have the benefit of his own immune system helping him. He is on tons of antibiotics but they are not helping we are at the point where we are looking into bringing in our ownSupplements to see if it will help.
