Help the Rubio family as they mourn Lucy's passing
With the heaviest of hearts the Rubio family must share the passing of Lucia Jesala Regalado Rubio on May 17, 2021 in a motor vehicle accident. Lucy was a beloved daughter, sister, grand-daughter and friend. Lucy's family was proud to watch her succeed as she was just nearing completion of the Medical Assisting program. We are raising money to cover the family's funeral expenses and Lucy's co-signed student loans. It's our turn to hold them up in these times of despair. Please help them as you can, and hold them close in your loving thoughts and hearts. Any dollar amount is helpful.
Please RSVP to let Lucy's family know you are planning to attend her service on June 4, 2021 at 11:11am at West Lawn Memorial Park, 225 S. Danebo Ave. Eugene, OR 97402. Please consider leaving small children at home, in order to leave room for others, as space is limited due to COVID restrictions. Even if you spent only one minute or as long as 20 years with Lucy, come show support for the family by celebrating her life with them.
On May 30th, Wren Rubio writes, “ So, COVID is putting a huge damper on Lucy's service Friday. Looks like we can only have a small amount of people indoors but lots more outdoors. I'm having to tell people to meet at the back door at noon, there will be parking attendants, and we will have a portion of the service graveside so everyone can still be a part of it. So, noon at 225 S Danebo Ave, Eugene, OR 97402. If anyone wants anything to be read outloud graveside that needs to be submitted on the RSVP form. I will contact those family and friends that we can get indoors. There will also be a live feed for the indoor service if you want to watch it on your phones. I will post the link later. Thank you for understanding.”
