Help the Rubadue's

Gene and Yvette experienced this first hurricane since moving to Florida! While they are safe...it's been a long and emotional week with some bumps in the road. Gene is working but not a set schedule and Yvette's facility has damage. She doesn't know when she'll be called back to work and isn't sure if she's being paid for the time they're unable to work.

They've incurred extra expenses and their normal bills will stay the same. I know several people have asked how they can help. This is the best way we can help them. I honestly don't know how much money they need and am not asking. I want to be able to provide a little extra cash to pay for the unexpected vet bill for her beloved Monkey Girl, the demolished shed and contents, extra gas, replenishing their food supply, etc.

They've been without power for almost a week and it's hot as hell in Florida right now. She's been running her car to keep her 3 pooches cool and has been dependent on it to charge her cell phone and get her to the gas station.  Today her car decided enough was enough so she was without it most of the day but I did just read it's running. I'm not sure the cost of getting it fixed.

With all the negative things that have happened this week, they've counted their blessings and are trying to remain positive. I'd like to add a bright spot to their week and know that they can count of their friends to help them in a time of need. If you're unable to donate, I know they will appreciate your kind thoughts, good wishes and prayers!!
