Help the Rozema's with their medical expenses
Beschermde donatie
Danielle (Minch) Rozema was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation II in February 2022. After her diagnosis, she underwent the first surgery. This surgery was a complete failure on the part of the neurosurgeon. Since her first surgery, she has had SEVEN more surgeries, all in an attempt to correct the problems that arose from the first surgery. Her husband, Mark, has been a terrific support for Danielle but has lost so much time at work that they are struggling with the mounting medical bills. Danielle has two children, Sabra and Grant, who are also tasked with caring for their mother while trying to attend school full time. The program through the hospital system does not have In Home Care available and Danielle is in need of some assistance with the activities that the rest of us take for granted. Since there is no program available for Danielle through the treating hospital system, her insurance will not cover any expenses. She will need to hire private-care aides or be stranded at home during the days. Her husband needs to be able to resume full-time work so he can keep the rest of the household going. Her children need to be able to focus primarily on their schoolwork and not worry all of the time about who will be able to help their mom while they are away. The family's second car has just quit running, which adds to the hardship when paying for travel expenses. Danielle will probably spend the rest of her life with physical and occupational therapies, as well as appointments with the many doctor's involved in this process.
Danielle has a wonderful support system in place with her mother and mother-in-law, but they also cannot be expected to place their personal lives on hold to help Danielle with the basics of everyday life.
Any funds donated would be directed toward the past medical expenses as well as the ongoing ones, including travel, that are incurring with all of the follow-up with specialists. If you cannot support monetarily, prayers are always welcomed and appreciated.
