It’s time for an update on the Rowland family 10 months after the fire. They had hoped to move back to their home of almost 25 years that they had been renting. The homeowner let them know that he too had been underinsured and once the home was rebuilt he would have to raise the monthly amount once he saw how much of his own money he would have to add in. When the home was finally rebuilt he quoted an amount that was almost twice as much as what they had been paying. After months of searching for a house to buy (they toured about 25 of them) they just closed on a house and will be able to move in about a week. I wanted to give you an update and if anyone wanted to send them a financial gift but didn't get around to it, this would be a good time.They're starting from scratch for furniture and appliances but they have been picking up odds and ends over these months.They are grateful for all your prayers and help this year and hope you all have blessed holidays.

Hello Friends and Family,

If you haven’t heard, Mike, Irene, and Daniel Rowland have been hit with a sudden blow that has left them in need of a bit of help. Early Sunday morning, Feb. 16, their house was struck by lightning and caught fire. Thankfully, no one was injured, but their house was basically burnt to the ground. We know that many have been praying for them as they wade through the remains to recover what they can, and they are so thankful for the prayers and well-wishes. Although some things have been salvaged, they have lost almost everything.

As they continue on this journey to get on their feet and reestablish themselves in a new location, some of you may be interested in helping them with the financial end of this struggle. If you feel moved to help, any amount would be appreciated. If you are unable to give financially, please continue to pray for them and all that is ahead.
