Hi everyone, my name is Amanda and I’m sharing this story for some very close friends of mine ( Josh & Erin Rovner) in a very tough situation. Josh and myself went to high school together, and have remained good friends for the past 20-25 years or so. When it comes to priorities, Josh has always put his kids first before any, and everything else, including his own care. Recently, Josh was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer, and if you know Josh and his family, this is a real blow to a big wonderful family. Josh and Erin are a mixed family of 5 boys. Joel (17), Dylan (16), Noah (14), Dakota (11), and Jonah by (10). Between being placed on disability and getting only half his pay, medical bills, and care for the kids, things are going to be very difficult for such a wonderful family who could use our help. Josh is finishing up his first round of chemo, and in all probability will need another. Outside of the physical toll it will obviously take, the financial toll will be just as tough. Joel and Noah are on the varsity wrestling team, Dylan is working 4-5 days a week after school, Dakota plays soccer and loves to build, and Jonah is an all around young athlete. Erin and Josh are very big in their faith, and focus on that faith every day. Josh and Erin live for their boys and any donation would be greatly appreciated to help alleviate the stress and worry this family will be enduring this holiday season and into next year. They are some of the most selfless people I have the pleasure of knowing, and would do anything they could for anyone else. Please help me by helping this family at this time.
Thank you.
