Hello everyone,

We are the Rossendale Bucks, a passionate American football team based in the heart of Rossendale. Over the years, we’ve grown into a tight-knit team of players, coaches, and supporters who share a love for the game and a commitment to building our sport in the local community.

American football is still a growing sport here in the UK, and we’ve worked hard to make it accessible to anyone who wants to join — from complete beginners to experienced players. But now we need your help to take the next big step for our team.

Why we’re fundraising:

Right now we share a home field with a rugby team and require two different size pitches our rugby pitch doesn’t meet the official standards set by the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) and BAFA (British American Football Association) specifically our goal posts are fixed and need to be able to move between seasons, which means we can’t extend our field to regulation length or host competitive games at the level we aspire to.

To continue growing as a team, attract new players, and compete properly in official leagues, we need to replace our goal posts with ones that meet NCAA and BAFA specifications. Unfortunately, these are highly specialised and expensive — far beyond what our small team budget can cover alone.
