Recognize Rohingya

We are a group of high school seniors at the Ralph C Mahar Regional School in Orange Massachusetts. This year, we are enrolled in a class called Senior Honors Project, a year long academic course designed to allow students to drive their own projects that tackle regional, national, or global issues. We have developed a team that has decided to direct our studies towards the current Rohingya Crisis in Myanmar. For the last term, we have done extensive research on this matter, including the resulting refugee crisis.

This coming April 24th we are holding a symposium at the Mount Wachusett Community College to raise awareness about the crisis and hold a silent auction in order to raise funds to benefit the Rohingya refugee population in Cox Bazar, Bangladesh. We are hoping you can support our cause by donating. All funds at the event will be donated to the International Organization of Migration, an intergovernmental organization that works under the United Nations that provides services and education for displaced people.

As a group of young people organizing action, your donation would help us be a catalyst for change
