On August 26, 2024, everyone's favorite drumming realtor, my big brother Jay was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. The doctor's initially called it throat cancer, but a PET scan revealed that it is also present in his lymph nodes, back of his tongue, tonsils, and up through to his soft palate, so now they are calling it neck cancer.

As you can imagine, this has been devastating news for Jay and for those who love him. We are enormously grateful for all those who have reached out and especially for everyone's prayers. We serve a mighty God and believe in His power to heal and cure Jay of this awful disease.

Jay will soon begin radiation and chemotherapy treatments to fight the cancer. Doctors have warned of the many horrible side effects that he will endure. Needless to say, Jay will soon be unable to do the two things he loves most - sell real estate and play drums. Anyone who knows Jay knows that he is a hard worker, who often goes above and beyond to help clients buy and sell their homes. You also know that Jay loves music and is happiest when he is performing. Unfortunately, those loves of his are also his livelihood.

These treatments will help to save Jay's life, and for that, we are so thankful. However, these life-saving treatments and medications are not cheap. Without a steady income, this will certainly put a strain on Jay's finances.

I am asking that you please consider making a donation to help with the cost of treatments, medications, and other expenses that Jay will incur over the coming months of treatments and recovery. (The site made me choose a goal, but I honestly have no idea what the cost will be. Any donation is much appreciated!)

Most of all, please pray for my rockstar brother and for his health and comfort as he fights this battle.
