On Monday June 8th, Axten was diagnosed with RSV at only 8 weeks old, by Tuesday he was admitted for monitoring, and on Wednesday he was LifeFlighted to a Pediatric ICU. He has been in the PICU since. We are looking to raise funds for him, his mom Taya and dad Ke’Ahi, as they navigate his recovery both in the hospital and at home. Since his illness they have missed a week of work, Ke’Ahi will be returning to work, but Taya will still be home with Axten for a while once they are discharged. Because of this some of the funds will go to supporting their daily needs such as rent and groceries. Another portion will go to the medical bills, particularly the LifeFlight costs.

As of the creation of this fund, they are still in the PICU, hoping to be moved to a recovery unit the beginning of this week, where they will be for a couple days.
