Love and Support for the Rivera Family

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Lancaster's Caring Team has set up this fundraiser for the Rivera family.

Efrain Rivera has had a recurrence of his cancer. He and his family will need our love and support now more than ever. 

The Rivera family have been active UUCL members in many ways over recent years. The youngest, Willow, was in a baby carrier on Efrain's chest when we met them. They were all volunteers in Lifespan Education, Efrain as Youth group leader, Catherine assisted in children's activities , served as holiday decorator and a regular convener in Web & Wheel while the girls Arwen, Selene & Willow were best known as featured dancers and Sun Bearers in our annual Winter Solstice celebration. Early 2020, Efrain suffered an advanced cancer diagnosis. After several surgeries, chemotherapy, & radiation with brief remission, a second cancer has returned to his liver and lungs: incurable. The Rivera family could use our support and love. Currently, Catherine is a college student, unemployed and full time caregiver to Efrain and their 3 school-aged daughters.
