Hello, everyone. I am a friend of Amanda and Johnny Rivera and am initiating this GoFundMe in their honor.

At the beginning of February, Johnny was diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma, This is a rare form of cancer which originates in the lining of the colon. The advanced nature of the cancer is also affecting his liver, lungs, and appendix. Johnny has already begun aggressive treatment. These treatments will continue for the foreseeable future.

Johnny is a devoted dad and husband.

Johnny and Amanda have three wonderful children. For years they have dedicated themselves to their family, church, and community.

The Rivera’s are givers. They are generous by nature, so being in a position of need is challenging.

Cancer takes everything. It’s expensive no matter what support you have. The severity of Johnny’s diagnosis limits what he can do. Amanda is also limited as she is putting more time into supporting Johnny and the kids.

There are so many needs and fears associated with this.

Johnny and Amanda are apprehensive but remain hopeful and rely on their faith. At this time, please consider praying for healing, provision, and wisdom.

Chemo, radiation, hospital stays, and more mean that bills can stack up, even with insurance.

Johnny needs our support. Our goal is to fill in the gap and provide peace and resources so that they can use their time to focus on healing and family.
