Leah Risley's Recovery

Hi, my name is Nick Risley and I'm fundraising for Neal and Leah Risley.

Leah Risley was involved in a vehicle accident on Friday 10/15/2021 and she's been in the hospital ever since. As a result of the accident, she lost movement on the left side of her body. She's had surgery to help prevent further damage and the doctor was optimistic that she'll regain movement, however, he stated that it will take months. The physical therapy to help recover will likely be in Atlanta, Louisville, or Chicago and will require travel and extended stays.

Leah is a self-employed hairdresser so continuing work in the immediate future is not an option. As you could imagine the financial impact from not working, medical expenses, and travel will be a burden. The next several months will be difficult but Leah is a fighter, and we know she'll make the best of it.
