Help the Rincon-Castro Family Rebuild After Fire

Dear community, friends, and family,

It is with great sadness, distress, but profound faith that we reach out to you for help! The Rincon-Castro family of four was displaced from their rental home in Oxnard on Tuesday, December 10th, as the home caught on fire. VC Star Article can be read here: https://tinyurl.com/5cvr8szf

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by pertinent authorities.

This family, whose older daughter is newly enlisted in the US Army, needs all our help! All appliances, clothes, pictures, and furnishings were lost in the fire, and while they foremost have each other this holiday, they are tentatively staying with friends in a spare bedroom. Only dad is working at the moment as has had to miss work due to this tragedy.

Primarily, we are seeking financial support as the family needs to start seeking a new rental, and that, along with deposits and first month's rent, is over 5K in our city. Furnishings and appliances will also be needed, but at the moment there is no place for them. ¡Con gran tristeza y angustia, pero con profunda fe, acudimos a usted en busca de ayuda! La familia Rincon-Castro de cuatro integrantes fue desplazada de su casa de alquiler en Oxnard el martes 10 de diciembre cuando la casa se incendió. ¡Esta familia cuya hija mayor acaba de enlistarse en el ejército de los EE. UU. necesita toda nuestra ayuda! Todos los electrodomésticos, ropa, recuerdos y muebles se perdieron en el incendio y, aunque en estas fiestas se tienen el uno al otro, provisionalmente se quedan con amigos en una habitación libre. Solo papá está trabajando y ha tenido que faltar al trabajo debido a esta tragedia.

Principalmente buscamos apoyo financiero ya que la familia necesita comenzar a buscar un nuevo alquiler, y eso, junto con los depósitos y el primer mes de alquiler, supera los $5mil dólares en nuestra ciudad. Muebles y electrodomésticos también se necesitarán, pero de momento no hay lugar para ellos.
