Meet The Rev, named in honor of our new senator Reverend Raphael Warnock. He’s 4 months (we think), and was heartlessly abandoned on the streets in the dead of a very cold winter. While out canvassing one of ATL’s roughest neighborhoods, he followed me for blocks. He just wanted to give kisses and sit in my lap. So I made him a leash and took him with me door to door for two days. No one wanted or recognized him. I’ve failed in finding his family- he has no chip or tags, and I think he was totally unwanted and unloved.
I’m now trying to rehome him (I suspect he will be a foster fail!!) but am wanting to get him chipped, neutered, vaccinated, and in good medical standing. He also needs a proper bed and leash. He has absolutely stolen my heart and I’m not positive I’ll be able to let him go.
Can we humbly ask for your good will and help in giving Rev the life he so deserves?
What Rev needs to begin his new life:
Neuter surgery: $75
Pain meds: $15
Puppy Vaccines: $40-$90 (varies on his exam results)
Microchip and registration: $25
Medical exam: $35
Doggie bed: $50
Treats for training: $20
Unexpected costs: $15?
His gratitude is palpable, and my gratitude towards the most wonderful community I’ve ever met is even moreso. Thank you all for your kind and encouraging words, and for supporting all of us Georgians in the senate runoff. He sends big wet kisses and tail wags to all of you, and I send my deepest thanks.
