Help The Restoration Hotel Employees Recover From Helene

The destruction to our town is absolutely unimaginable from Hurricane Helene. The Restoration Hotel is raising funds to help their employees that lost everything as well as help with their lost wages during this difficult time. We are fortunate enough to have every one of our employees accounted for however two of them lost their homes.

The city is still without water as well as power in some places. At this time we are able to take on first responders at the hotel and that has been our focus for some employees. Most employees have had to be temporarily furloughed until we have water and are a running business again. With the impact to local tourism we have no idea when income opportunities for these folks may return again.
