Help the Reeves Family After House Fire

Yesterday morning, February 7, the home of Christopher Reeves and his family burned down. It is a total loss, the building and all their possessions inside.

We are extremely grateful that all the humans and all the pets are safe, thanks to a neighbor who alerted Christopher to the fire in progress. Insurance will eventually reimburse the family for many of the material items they lost, but that process is not immediate and in the end much will remain uncompensated.

In the meantime, Christopher, his partner and her son are all in temporary lodgings, and need to pay out of pocket for many extra expenses: lodging, meals out, unusual costs for animal care, and more.

Christopher is himself the soul of generosity, sharing his time, attention and care with his community, always invested in helping everywhere possible. We want to lift him up at this critical moment and ease the difficulty for him as best we can.
