My father-in-law and mother-in-law were involved in a horrific accident on Saturday, March 21, 2026. They were t-boned and rolled their Kia Sorento multiple times. My father-in-law lost consciousness, ended up in the back seat, and had to be life-flighted to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. My mother-in-law had to get the jaws of life to cut her out of the front seat and was also taken by ambulance to Shands.

My mother-in-law had to get rods placed in her leg and pins in her ankle and will not be able to walk for a few months. My father-in-law has a fractured sternum, brain bleed, bleeding lung, and a busted artery going into his heart that they luckily caught and repaired, or it would have been fatal.

My father-in-law is a hardworking man that provides everything for his family. Unfortunately, he will be out of work for some time while he recovers, and they have bills needing to be paid. I am starting this GoFundMe so he can take the time off work needed to heal at home and not worry about having to pay their bills.

We have not been able to go see what remains of their car yet since they have to be present, but from what we have been told, it's crushed on all sides as the car went airborne and flipped multiple times.
