Help the Recinos Family with Roof Repair
Donation protected
In the most recent storm that came through Charlotte, our roof experienced damage that we noticed through 7 leaks in our kids' room. We had hoped it would be covered by our insurance, but so dang sadly it isn't due to negligent install.
We bought our house in 2018 from a DIY house flipper who advertised that the roof was newly replaced in 2017. Apparently, it was replaced without any weather stripping underneath the shingles, which led to these leaks showing up. Honestly, we're lucky we made it these past 6 years without noticing any other damage.
With how badly the water damage is already showing up in our roof, we can't risk the chance of mold growing - especially right above our babies' heads.
It's a huge financial undertaking and something we thought we wouldn't need to do for another 5-10 years. This will sink our savings and right before we bring our new baby girl home this upcoming November.
Anything at all helps in a HUGE way and you'll be making a huge difference in our lives during this crazy time.
