Help the Ray Family Rebuild After Flood

The Ray family was a victim of the horrendous Hill Country floods.

They were forced to evacuate in the middle of the night as a lot of water started coming into their home. By the time they were making it outside, the water was fully up to their legs with their cars floating in the driveway and the amount of debris in the water that they had to trudge through, was unbelievable. They had to call out to 911 for a water rescue as they waited for help until the water went down enough to escape to the neighbors across the way on higher ground where we could go until someone was able to reach them.

What they returned to was unimaginable and gut-wrenching.

Their house was not in a floodplain, and therefore did not have flood insurance. Their home was destroyed and all 3 vehicles have been totaled. Though the community has rallied together and helped with a lot of the debris and devastation, they have a long way to go with cleanup and rebuilding. They desperately need our help. The Rays are so very thankful for the help that has been given, and we humbly come before you to ask for your consideration to help aid this family in rebuilding.

They have always been the hands and feet of our Jesus and helped so many people. Now it's our turn to help them.

Although they and their girls are displaced, above all, they are thankful for the protection of their lives and furbabies.

Luke 6:28: “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
