Dear friends, family, and neighbors,

My dear friends and next-door neighbors, The Ramseys, sincerely need our help. These folks are like my second family. And by the way, they would never ask for help themselves, which is why I'm starting this GoFundMe.

At present, both Mr. and Mrs. Ramsey are currently admitted to the hospital for different reasons. JM Ramsey is in for heart complications and prostate concerns. Ms. Pat is in for pneumonia. To say they are on a fixed income may sound cliche, as most people are, but they've experienced so much in such a short amount of time that the bills are starting to pile up. Anything... anything at all that we can give will definitely help.

Additionally, there are some repairs that need to be done to their home, but this poor family can't catch a break. Their daughter, my friend Gina, is trying desperately to hold down the fort, holding down a job at the same time as caring for her own son and now her parents. Exhausted as she is, she's doing the very best she can.

A lot of you will know the Ramseys personally as I do. But even if you don't know them personally, most of you have heard me talk about them because they truly are like a second family to me. And hopefully, that's enough to pull on your heartstrings in an effort to help me help them.
