Help the Rivera Family in Their Time of Need

Dear family and friends, I hope this message finds you all safe and healthy. My name is Kathy, for those who don't know me. I never thought I would be starting this GoFundMe page. I would donate, but I never thought I would need to initiate one. It's so different when it hits close to home.

On February 25, my amazing cousin, Hector, was diagnosed with oral cancer. He is the sole provider for his loving wife, Melorie, and his two amazing sons, Isaiah and Avin. Isaiah has Autism and requires extra support, which Hector and Melorie both lovingly care for him. This awful cancer diagnosis has created a sudden halt in their lives and has brought so much physical, psychological, and emotional pain to them. Hector has gone through two very invasive surgeries and is enduring so much pain and inability to swallow and eat. Now, with no time to completely heal, Hector has to endure 6 weeks of intense radiation which will cause more pain. Hector was still trying to work through his recovery time and has suffered so much. Melorie is trying to maintain her strength daily while caring for her husband and comforting and assuring their sons. This has taken a serious financial toll on their lives and has caused more stress. I am humbly asking for any donation you would consider. Nothing is too small. Please keep the Rivera Family in your thoughts and prayers as we know how powerful praying is.

Father, lift up Hector, Melorie, and sons, Isaiah and Avin. You know their needs, their struggles, and their hearts. We pray that You would surround them with Your love and grace, bringing healing to Hector's body, mind, and spirit. Let Your Holy Spirit work within them, bringing comfort and hope where there is pain and uncertainty. Thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for being ever-present in times of need. We give You all the praise and glory, trusting in Your unfailing love and mercy. In Jesus' name, Amen.
