We, the Rainey Family, are looking for some major support as we are looking to save our family home. In 2021, the Rainey Family & Roosevelt community took a major loss when Debra Rainey, beloved mother, wife, and a true good Samaritan, passed away from an 8-year breast cancer battle. She left behind 4 beautiful daughters, two granddaughters and her family’s pets that gave her so much love and comfort before her passing.

For the past 4 years, our family has struggled with keeping up with bills, but we've done what we could to stay afloat.

Right now, our family is beginning to sink as our Rainey family home is on the brink of foreclosure. The bank is asking us to come up with $16,000 in three weeks before we will be forced to sell our home.

With three generations of Roosevelt history in this home filled with love, we’re now seeking help from our beloved friends, family, loved ones, and community members. Any little bit helps!

Our beloved ‘Mama Rainey’, was a pillar in the Roosevelt community for over 20 years where she raised her children and worked as administrative assistant until she couldn’t work anymore due to the cancer spreading to the other parts of her body. She ran an after school girls group, where she created a space for middle school girls to share their growing pains in a safe environment. She also donated her time to hospitals and children battling cancer. All while she was undergoing chemotherapy herself. She donated to many charities and essentially made sure she spread love to everyone!

We’ve exhausted all other options, and this is our last chance to save the Rainey family home.
