Help the Rahman Family Survive in Gaza

Donation protected
9/5/2025- prices in the market are more bearable this week, any and all donation as soon as possible is appreciated beyond words can express. I want to make sure they are able to stock up on enough food while prices are lower.

9/3/2025- thank you to anyone who can donate this week, any and all donations are appreciated beyond words. I am so thankful for everyone and can’t thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Thank you to anyone who can continue to help.

8/28/2025- as of right now we only have $50 to go towards food this week. Please any and all donation is appreciated beyond words to help this family. Abdul is still recovering from surgery (getting his stitches out tomorrow) and expressed that he has not eaten in 2 days. We need as much donations as possible to help this family get through.
8/26/2025- we are in desperate need of donations for food. Thank you to anyone who can help.

8/22/205- as the occupation is taking full control of Gaza, we are in dire need of donations for food as I fear there will be no way to access food. Any and all donations are desperately needed and thank you to anyone who can help.
8/21/2025- we are in need of donations for food for next week. Any and all donations are appreciated. I can’t thank everyone enough who is helping. They need as much help as possible.
8/20/2025- Abdul had surgery today and is recovering but unable to recover in the hospital. At this time they need as much help as possible. Thank you to anyone who can help.
8/18/2025- I am hoping we can raise more money this week, as Abdul has been trying to go to the aide site for flour and is exhausted from spending days walking back and forth and escaping death with no luck in getting flour. His birthday is this Friday and I would love to help get him enough donations to help him this week. Thank you to everyone who continues to show up for this family. Thank you.
8/16/2025- we are in need of more donations for the coming week as Abdul is exhausted so any help in getting them enough donations to buy food is appreciated beyond anything, thank you to everyone who can help.

8/12/2025- thank you so much to everyone who has donated this week. So far we are at $200 and we need about $200 more to get enough food to last this week. I can’t thank everyone who is helping enough.

8/10/2025- Any and all donation is desperately needed in the coming week. Thank you to anyone who can help.

8/7/2025- we are in desperate need for donations toward some food and transportation to evacuate. $400 is the minimum amount needed. Their neighbors were martyred 20 meters away from them. Any and all donations are appreciated thank you.
8/6/2025- another evacuation order. They are tired. They can’t do this anymore they are physically and mentally exhausted.

8/3/2025- Ahmed is sick and needed medication. We have been able to get that for him but we are still in desperate need for donations for food, especially for a breastfeeding mom as Amal is still able to eat through breastfeeding. $400 is what can last for only a week, so any help is appreciated beyond words can express.

8/2/2025- they will need $400 in donations for food. Any and all donations are appreciated beyond words. Last weeks donations had to go towards Jassims burial. Thank you to anyone from the bottom of my heart that can help.

8/1/2025- photos of sweet Jassim who turned into a hero who only wanted to get his family food. A child who should still be here.

7/31/2025- such horrible news, Abdul’s 15 year old nephew, Jassim, bravely went to get food for his family. His life was taken by an American. I am at a loss for words. Please keep the Rahman family and Jassem in your prayers.

7/30/2025- thank you all so much for this weeks donations, as of right now this week we have $200. Thank you to everyone helping.

7/28/2025- Abdul had gone to the aide trucks yesterday for flour. As he was waiting by the truck with the flour, his foot became stuck and run over by the truck which caused him to fall down and break his toe. As he was on the ground people started to attack him for his flour in which they ended up stealing from him. Abdul had to be taken to Nasser Hospital for his injuries and came back to his tent with nothing. Please see the link below to see what these trucks look like and what he has to go through just for flour.

the kids eat water and rice and Bayan is still able to breastfeed Amal. Any donation to go towards more food as Abdul is recovering from his injury is appreciated. Thank you SO much to everyone who has donated this week and continue to support this family.

7/27/2025- thank you all so much for this weeks donations. Thank you thank you!

7/25/2025- I don’t have words to express how bad the situation is getting. They are in desperate need of donations to go toward flour this week. In total they need $400 to buy a bag of flour. Any donations to help me get them enough flour for two weeks is appreciated beyond words can express.

7/18/2025- Abdul has lost a best friend in the American Humanitarian aide center. He has lost now many family and friends getting aide. It is extremely dangerous at these sites, any and all donations to help get food in the markets (which is extremely expensive due to merchants and high prices) thank you to anyone who can help this family.

7/12/2025- Amal❤️

7/9/2025- recently Abdul’s brother and his family had received an evacuation order for where they were living so they are now living with them. I have helped them get a new tent so any and all donations will go toward food. Food for two weeks cost $400. This weeks donations have helped so much, I can’t thank those who are continuously supporting this family with me. Thank you. Here are some pictures of Ahmed ❤️

7/7/2025- They have been sent this weeks donations for food. Thank you so much. A picture of Ahmed I received this week:

6/27/2025- Abdul has expressed before that when he withdraws the money out that is sent to him for cash, the merchants will take around 45% of that money (for example he will only receive $50 out of a $100 donation after taxes from GFM and the merchants taking out 45%) and the only way to spend that money is to turn it into cash (some places may not even accept that cash). There is no way around this and is just another cruel act that they have to endure. I saw a video explaining this and felt I should share this info. The amount of cruelty they are facing is beyond anyone can even imagine. As of today, Abdul has built a new tent and still in need of food to buy from the markets.

6/26/2025- they had slept at Nasser Hospital lastnight but Nasser hospital is under evacuation so it is not safe to stay there. I have sent money for a tent any donation will go towards food as going to the aide traps is a death sentence. Thank you to anyone who can help.
6/25/2025- I received news that the tent Abdul and his family have been living has been destroyed by the water. They are now without a tent once again. I can’t imagine this pain. Any and all donation to go toward a tent to relocate is greatly appreciated. The tent cost is $360. They plan on moving to Al-Aqsa University area which is further from the shoreline.
6/24/2025- some pictures of sweet Amal today:

6/23/2025- Abdul has lost a cousin while at the humanitarian aide. I have no more words to describe how scary it is to get food at the aide centers. Any and all donation for food to buy what is left is appreciated beyond I can say. They will need food for next week as they were able to buy some this week. It costs $100 for flour. This will last them a few days. Below is a picture of the quantity of flour he received this week:

6/22/2025- I can’t thank those who donated this week enough. I am just so thankful for every single person who is helping. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU. The Rahman family has received all the donations. Thank you thank you
6/21/2025- the connection in Gaza is still cut and most people need esims or to find areas that allow connection. Abdul has had to borrow money and sacrifice his cellphone for food. If he did not pay back the amount they will take his cellphone. His cellphone is the only thing he has left of memories. His family pictures and a way to contact us. I appreciate any and all donations to help this family, the occupation is keeping the remaining aide so buying food from the remaining markets is the safest way to get food. It is cruel and I and thankful to each and every person so has donated to this family. Thank you
6/20/2025- we are in desperate need of $190 to cover the cost of the food Abdul has been able to to buy by borrowing money. Any and all donations are extremely appreciated words can’t describe the amount of donations already received which is $160. We need to cover the total cost of $450. Seriously THANK YOU all so much. my heart goes out to every single one of you.
6/18/2025- I have not heard from the Rahman family since two days ago as connection was cut off again. I know they are still in need of food. I am praying they are all okay.

6/16/2025- a picture of Amal today❤️

6/15/2025- Abdul has used the donations to buy antibiotic medicine for the kids. Thank you for the donations this week.

6/14/2025- I have finally heard from Abdul, he is in need of medication for the kids and food for the week. So far we have $50 for this week. Any and all donations to go toward their food and medication is appreciated beyond words can express.
6/13/2025- I have not heard from the Rahman family since Wednesday. Please keep this family in your prayers. I am praying I hear from them soon.

6/12/2025- the connection has been cut off I have not heard from them since yesterday when Abdul told me Ahmed is sick. I am praying they are okay. Thank you for this weeks donations, as soon as I hear from them I will send it over. Thank you again so much.
6/10/2025- they are still in need of donations for food as distribution centers have been death traps. It is safer for them to get food from the markets. Thank you to any and all donations.
6/7/2025- all donations have been sent and Abdul was able to buy food such as meat this week. I can’t thank those who are helping this family enough. Thank you. Here is a picture of Ahmed playing in a bucket:
6/6/2025- an update, Abdul’s cousin (Raed, 40) was martyred today. They were both on their way to get aide, when the occupation started opening fire on them. While escaping death again and trying to grab his cousin he re-injured his hand that he recently had stitches removed. Please keep them in your hearts and any and all donations go toward food as this is what they are risking their lives for. Thank you to anyone who has and is able to help.

6/4/2025- they are in urgent need for donations for food. Any and all donation is appreciated so much. Thank you to anyone that can help.

6/3/2025- Abdul is struggling mentally with the loss of his recent tent because it had absolutely everything he had left in there and everything is destroyed. He went to the site yesterday and witnessed the damage himself and nothing is recognizable and just destroyed. Any and all donations to help this family in any way is appreciated beyond any words can express.

6/1/2025- I can’t thank those who constantly show up for this family. They are currently in a small tent. Any and all donations go toward food and essentials. Below is what they are currently living in

5/29/2025- their tent rental is up and now are without shelter. Any and all donation is appreciate so much as this will go towards their tent and food. Thank you to anyone who can continue to help in any way.

5/25/25- Thankfully Abdul has been located, I have spoken with him today and he informed me that he has not eaten for a few days so the donations have went to more food and medication for his injury. They are still without shelter and need to relocate a spot for a tent. Thank you to everyone who has donated to this family, they are exhausted and any donation helps them so much. Thank you.

5/25 update- Abdul is Nasser Hospital with an injury to his hand. Bayan is in contact with him.

5/25/2025- no word from Abdul. The town of Abasan was evacuated without warning last week. Abdul got stuck trying to gather as much belongings for his family as possible as everything like clothing is extremely expensive. He is trying with everything to provide for his family. His safety is a main concern until he is with his family. We have not heard from him today, I will update as soon as we do. Thank you to everyone who supports this family, my heart is with the Rahman family.

Thank you to those who constantly show up for this family you are amazing. Thank you.

5/24/2025- Bayan spoke with Abdul only for a couple minutes today and told her he had injured his hand. He is still stuck, Bayan and her family are in desperate need for a new tent. We hope this can happen soon, thank you so everyone who is helping towards this goal. Everything is very unpredictable and expensive thank you to anyone who continues to help.

5/23/2025- Abdul is still stuck in Abasan, intense bombing has been happening in that area. Bayan and the children are in need of another tent this costs $370. I hope to hear from Abdul soon, he is not able to eat where he is until the occupation leaves. Bayan is only able to talk to him when he calls her from someone else’s phone. As of right now shelter is a priority and I thank anyone who can help at this time.

5/22/2025- Abdul remains stuck in Abasan, his cell phone battery has died and he is only able to leave the building when the occupation withdraws. I am in contact with Bayan through her brothers cellphone. I spoke with her today they have one more night in the tent and have been given donations for food. They will continue to need donation for shelter (tent rental) or to buy a tent for $370. Thank you so much to anyone who can help.

5/21/2025- as I am trying to figure out what is happening with Abdul, Abdul is not with his family he is still stuck in Abasan and only just recently has been able to leave the building he was in to get food. He had not eaten for 3 days he is still away from his family.

5/20/2025- Abdul is separated from his family. Bayan and the children went to Nasser Hospital which is now being evacuated again. Abdul is stuck Abasan, unable to leave. —I spoke with Bayan, she is on the streets with the children and donations are going to her to rent a tent. This costs about $130 for 3 days.

5/18/2025- the Rahman family are forced to evacuate and this time they had no warning but the sight of tanks coming toward them. They ran with nothing and tanks are near their tent. Any prayers are needed. We are hoping their tent and belongings are not harmed. Abdul has not heard from his brother and their children.

5/17/2025- Two nights ago the Rahman family lost a young cousin. Every night they are fearing for their lives. They are just barely living now. Thank you to those who have continued to donate.

5/13/2025- Rakan and Ahmed enjoying chips for the first time in a long time:

5/9/2025- I have been able to get the Rahman family a bag of flour, along with other food and water that will last them a week or so. Thank you so much for the donations this week, they have gone toward more plants to grow, rice and pasta.

5/6/2025- The Rahman family currently have food and water for the next 2-3 days. The price for flour is now $400 and food such as vegetables that use to cost $1 now go for as high as $50. I am at a loss for words, and thank anyone and everyone who can help. Below are some pictures of Abdul and Ahmed planting some beans, in hopes to grow something for their own:

5/4/2025- a bombing occurred near their tent in the early hours of the morning in which Abdul has lost two family members. Please continue to pray for this family.

4/30/2025- the most recent donations have gone toward food. I can’t thank those who continuously donates enough. Thank you thank you.

4/28/2025- Since the World Health Organization has announced the last of the food stock I have sent enough for them to buy food for a week. We are in need of donations to go toward food. His mother has received her passport which is a step into her travels to Egypt. Thank you to everyone who has helped. Below are some pictures of Ahmed, Amal & Abdul I received this week. We are also trying to get Abdul a bike so he is able to get to and from places when he needs to get food or when they need to evacuate their tent.

4/11/2025- They have been forced to evacuate, again. Ahmed's mother is unable to walk a far distance as she is suffering from a recent stroke, and back pain. They need to travel miles away from their tent with very little transportation means. Please keep this family in your prayers. Thank you.

This week I was able to send some money for new clothes for the kids. Here are some adorable pictures of Ahmed and Rakan:

3/24/2025- thank you to those who have donated this week, all of the donations have made it to the Rahman family. They are able to buy firewood which costs $8 per kilo and Abdul told me he needs 7-8 kilos a day. Any and all donations will be going towards more food and essentials and I can’t thank those who are donating, enough. Thank you.

3/22/2025- after days of displacement again, Abdul and his family have returned to their tent and thank God everything is still there. They will be in need of food for the week, thank you for any and all help.

3/21/2025- I have heard from Abdul, Abson a town in kahnyounis, where they are in is currently under attack but they have no where to go. He does not know the status of his tent. The weather is down pour rain with very little place to take shelter.

3/18/2025- as we know the occupation has attacked and has made innocent people evacuate their already destructed homes and tents. The Rahman family had to emergency evacuate lastnight. They are in dire need for food and essentials as costs are sky-rocketing. My heart is broken and I thank everyone who is helping this family.

2/14/2025- A week and one day since Amal was born, and she and Bayan are doing great. They have been very busy trying to prepare and continue Bayans recovery. They are so thankful to those who have helped them this past week. Since being out of the medical facility, they are still in need of essentials. Thank you so much to those who continuously show this family support.

2/8/2025- I can’t thank those who have donated recently enough, Abdul has received the money and is able to buy a tent. Abdul has said Bayan and the baby are doing well. We are still awaiting the arrival of their baby girl. They are still in need for food and essentials.

1/16/2025- We are uncertain about the ceasefire, and Bayan is due to give birth to her baby girl this month. The uncertainty is just as traumatizing for these families. Thank you to those who donated this week, donations are going toward what the baby will need and more food and essentials

11/10/2024- Just want to update, we are still using any incoming donations for food and essentials. I cant thank everyone who has helped already enough.

11/1/2024- I just want to update-- as we know they are still struggling to survive. I don't have much to update on, as their life has been the same struggle since the beginning. I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who have donated to this family. We have been continuing to use the donations for food.

10/18/2024- Since the last update, things have gotten worse for the Rahman family but they are doing okay. Being displaced multiple times along with trying to survive is costly and so we have continued to use the donations for essentials. Thank you to those who are continuing to donate. Here are some updated pictures of Ahmed and Rakan:

10/5/2024- Abdul informed me they are in desperate need to evacuate the area they are taking shelter in at the moment and will need to leave by the morning. All remaining proceeds have gone towards this evacuation. Thank you so much to those who have helped with this process.

9/29/2024- I was updated today that Ahmed is sick. We had to withdraw more money for his care and treatment. I would not have been able to help them without the help of these donations. I cant thank everyone enough for what you have contributed in helping this family.

9/19/2024- To everyone who has donated, this means the world. Today we had to withdraw the remaining money so they could buy more food. Any amount donated makes a huge impact to this family and I cant thank those who have donated already enough. The Rahman family is truly so appreciative of everyone.

Here is a picture of Ahmed and Abdul from today :)

I just want to thank those who have already donated to the Rahman family fund. Unfortunately, we had to withdraw what was donated so far as they need some funds to be able to stay alive. Recently, Bayan has sustained a burn injury to her leg and that required medication and wraps. The funds went toward her care and food. Thank you to anyone helps support this family, it means the world.

Hello,

This is the Rahman family. Their family consists of seven people: Abdul Rahman (28), his pregnant wife Bayan (25), their sons Ahmed (7 months) and Rakan (5 y/o), Abdul's mother (60) and sister (30). They have lost everything during the unimaginable events that have been happening in Ga/za. I have been in contact with Abdul and his family for months now and I can’t imagine what this family has had to go through. I am helping this family raise money to survive. All proceeds will go toward evacuating (when borders are opened). Abdul has a brother in Egypt who will be assisting them in evacuating. Any amount means the world to this family.
