Hi, I'm Gail aka The Radge, and in June 2024 I was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma (LMS). This was a bolt from the blue and my diagnosis was not good. It was discovered that I had a 10cm tumour in my womb but by the time I was diagnosed it had spread to my lymph nodes and lungs - the prognosis was pretty grim too - months to live. Bloody hell - I don't think so I thought!!! Luckily I had some radiation which helped with some shrinkage of a protruding tumour and since last November I have been undergoing palliative chemotherapy. I am very lucky that I am still here as LMS is a very rare and aggressive cancer but I am fighting this every day - you messed with the wrong gal LMS!!!

As LMS or sarcoma cancers in general are so rare, there is very little funding that goes into research which is why I'd like to raise some money for them. My wonderful oncologist won't let me do a skydive or walk on hot coals (seriously) so I thought a Go Fund Me would help!

I'm so grateful for any help with this - although I'm a positive girl, it's been a tough few months for my family and friends and if any funds raised could help with this brutal cancer and stop anyone else going through this, then it will be worth it.
