Help Support the Family of a 7-Year-Old Lost in the Dunn Apartment Fire

On the night of July 4th, our community experienced a heartbreaking tragedy that no family should ever have to endure.

Emergency crews were dispatched at 10:53 p.m. to Ashebrook Apartments in Dunn after reports that fireworks had ignited a devastating apartment fire. Firefighters, paramedics, and multiple surrounding agencies responded quickly, risking their lives to rescue those trapped inside.

Despite their heroic efforts, a precious 7-year-old child Cashmere Elijah Parker

tragically lost their life.

As this family faces unimaginable grief, they are also dealing with the overwhelming financial burden of funeral expenses, temporary housing, replacing personal belongings, and other unexpected costs brought on by this devastating fire.
