Help the Queen Thomasina sail to Edinburgh Fringe

Donation protected
Hello!

We are Footpath Theatre Company, also known as Harrison Lind and Connor Johnson.

Last summer, with the help of our resident director Andra Harbold, we premiered The Wreck of the Queen Thomasina to audiences in Brooklyn, New York, as part of the Marooned! play series presented by spit&vigor Theatre Company. The show was a resounding success, receiving rave responses.

This summer, we are taking the show on the road, errr, on the sea! We are sailing across the pond to the distant shores of Scotland, to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; the oldest and biggest fringe theatre festival in the world, and we need your help (yes, YOU)!

We need new sails, a new anchor, and we'd like to refurbish our poop deck. However, as actors/ salt sea dogs living in one of the most cost-ineffective cities in the world...Brooklyn, we can barely afford to feed our ships three-legged dog, Stinker.

But, in all seriousness, the cost of attending the Edinburgh Fringe is immense. We need to finance travel, accommodation, an entire venue, and advertisement for our show.

Any amount helps, from $1 to a chest full of gold doubloons (or cash equivalent). But seriously, anything would be amazing. Thank you all so much!

xoxo,
Harrison and Connor (aka Crumb and Nickel)

A bit about The Wreck of the Queen Thomasina:

An existential tragicomedy about two pirates, Crumb and Nickel, who wake on a deserted island, sans captain, sans crew, lots of sand. Written in rhyming verse, dealing in themes of human-treasure chest sexuality, spoon and flask fisticuffs, and palliative pirate drag. Come for the swashbuckling, stay for the delicate deconstruction of masculinity.
