Help the Quario Family Rebuild and Feel Safe

My name is Brandon Quario and we live in a very small town where major crimes, especially deadly ones do not happen. We were strong believers until a couple weeks ago we had someone shoot our house 6 times, which 3 of the 6 shots were VERY close!!! 5 shots though the house and one hitting the foundation. One through our boys bedroom, Oakley (4) Lennyn (3) two shots through mine and and my wife Stephanie’s bedroom. If we had been laying in bed it would’ve gotten me direct in the head. It came through my pillows and 3 feet into our bed. One shot through our bathroom that went through THREE walls and coming to a stop at our tv stand luckily otherwise it would’ve hit Lennyn on the couch. Stormie (16) heard the shots fired from her room in the basement and came running upstairs not knowing what to expect or if she was going to walk upstairs to her Step dad, mom, and brothers dead!!! Stormie and Stephanie quickly moved both boys from the couch to the kitchen floor. I called 911 immediately and officers arrived very quickly!!! We had one cop at the time inside our home, and one outside. Several more showed up to help with the investigation. Stormie going through our camera footage with the officers outside they quickly got a good enough description of the vehicle and started asking more questions. One officer had the individual picked out before they even arrested him. They were receiving tips while they were standing at our house. We quickly packed ourselves up and the kids to leave our house because they didn’t have a for sure suspect, but had a good idea so we didn’t feel safe at home. A officer followed us to where we had chosen to go. I get a call at approximately 2:30 in the morning and the officer on the other end said we have the shooter in custody!!! I frantically asked who it was and it was the individual the officer had thought!!! He was booked into jail and in less than 24 hours he was released on a 1,000 dollar bond!!! Us scared for our lives got a whole lot more scared because how are we supposed to feel safe when they release him on 1,000 dollar bond. Since the incident I didn’t work for two weeks because the wife was terrified, feared for her and the kids life and didn’t feel safe without me home. Finally the 3rd week came around and I went back to work, because I didn’t have any other choice, but very part time due to having to take the kids to school, picking them up, and making sure Stephanie has a safe place for the time I’m gone. Before this I didn’t have to do any of that. Stephanie is on disability and stays home with the kids so she would always take the kids back and forth while I was at work. I’m working the hours I can, but it just isn’t enough to get by. I’m trying to do the best I can to be there and protect my family so that’s really hurting my hours. I’ve never asked for anything and was raised to work for what you want and need, but we’ve came to this situation and it’s really impacting us financially, mentally, and physically!!! We had to pay for the repairs to the house, the gutter, and 3 rooms on our own all while not working. We don’t feel comfortable or safe in OUR own home. None of us can sleep in OUR own beds or bedrooms because we’re so scared it’s gonna happen again!!! We have some bills that were due last week and more coming up that we couldn’t and can’t afford. We have our family vehicle that gets the kids to school, back, appointments, and wherever else they need to go that needs to go into the shop for some unexpected repairs that I’m going to have to come up with. I’ve been pulling out of my savings I had saved to spend it on something to do as a family, but unfortunately we had to get the house fixed and pay what bills we could out of it. We’re not the ones to ask for a free handout, but this situation is really tough on us so after MANY thoughts on how to get by and make it we didn’t have very many options, but to ask for help!!! We love our community and don’t want to move, but that’s not completely out of the question yet. We appreciate all donations or if it’s just a share and a prayer!!! We could use it all.
