In the fall of 2022, my son, Jonas, came home with unacceptable school photos. In the picture, Jonas was completely disengaged and still wearing his jacket and safety harness. At that very moment, I knew this problem needed to be solved and that I possessed the rare skill set to be a big part of the solution and effect positive change with school pictures for special needs children.

Every fall, each child has their photo taken, and regardless of their ability, has the right to receive a dignified image that welcomes them to sit at the table of humanity. Most school photos of special needs children exemplify their disabilities instead of accentuating their inner joy and pure bliss.

My son's school photos were the catalyst for The Pure Bliss Project.

My goal for the 2025-'26 school year is to bring The Pure Bliss Project to 1,000 special needs students and their families in the Northeast Indiana area and beyond.

That's where you all come in. Because of funding issues, autism centers and schools are often unable to pay for these much-needed photos. I believe so much in the mission of The Pure Bliss Project and I will not let lack of funds halt this project. I have a very high and lofty goal to achieve this, but I know that if many give even just a little bit, it all adds up to the final goal. The cost per child is $100.

So, 1,000 students x $100 per child = $100,000.

All it will take is 1,000 people, just like yourself, to each sponsor 1 child.

I know that we can reach this together. These funds will cover my time, travel, equipment repairs and/or replacements, and promotions/marketing.
