On Thursday, October 16, the Pritts family of Culpeper, Tyler, Winona, and their sons Connor (13) and Jackson (11), lost their home and all of their belongings in a devastating house fire. Thankfully, the family is safe and together, but the road ahead will be long as they begin the process of rebuilding over the next 12–14 months.
Tyler serves the Commonwealth as a correctional officer for the State of Virginia, while Winona dedicates her career to supporting small businesses and farms through Culpeper County’s local government. Deeply rooted in their community, Winona also serves as the Chair of the Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals and sits on the board of Career Partners, helping connect local students with career opportunities.
The Pritts family has always given back to others, volunteering their time, energy, and hearts to make Culpeper a better place. Now, it’s our turn to support them as they navigate this difficult chapter.
All funds raised will go toward helping the family rebuild their lives, covering essentials like clothing, food, and living expenses as they work to recover from the loss of their home and belongings.
The family is overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, prayers, and kindness they’ve already received from friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Every donation, no matter the size, helps them move one step closer to restoring a sense of normalcy and home.
Thank you for rallying around a family who has done so much for our community. Your generosity and support mean more than words can express.
