On August 7th, 2026, our lives changed forever when the bald range fire destroyed our home in Summerland BC.

My husband Dana, our children Dylan and Madi and I lost our home and virtually everything we owned. In a matter of minutes , the place we had built our lives on was gone. We lost all of our belongings, our memories, vehicles, toys, so many things that made our house a home for the last 17 years.

We do have insurance and are incredibly grateful for that. But anyone who has experienced catastrophic loss knows that the insurance doesn't immediately take care of all the unexpected expenses that come with starting over. There are countless costs involved in rebuilding a life from the ground up, and it will take a very long time for us to become re established.

Right now we are doing our best to move forward and rebuild with some sense of normalcy for Dylan and Madi while dealing with the enormous emotional and financial impacts of what happened.

Our losses are HUGE and the road ahead will be long.

I am starting this fundraiser to help our family with the unexpected expenses of rebuilding our lives. Every contribution large or small will help us take another step toward getting back on out feet.
